DIGITAL MEMBERSHIP CARD FAQ
How do I access my digital membership card?
To access your digital membership card, on your smartphone, click on the link that was emailed to you and enter your account ID and last name. Once on the screen with your digital membership card, hit “Add to Wallet”. You can also access your card by downloading the eMembership Card app.

How do I access my reciprocal benefits with my digital membership card?
Reciprocal benefits can be accessed either through the eMembership Card app or through your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
In the eMembership Card app: Select “Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art”. On the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art home screen, click the black button labeled “Membership Benefits”. Next, click on the button labeled “Reciprocal Benefits” This page displays the icons of the reciprocal networks for admission at your Virginia MOCA membership level.
In your smartphone Wallet: Click on the three dots on the upper right corner and select “Pass Details.” Reciprocal networks will be listed at the top.
Why didn’t my wallet pass update with my new expiration date?
You will need to remove the pass from your smartphone Wallet and re-download it from the eMembership Card app. To remove, click on the three dots on the upper right-hand corner and click “Remove Pass”. Then in the eMembership Card app, click “Show My Membership Cards” and then “Add to Wallet”.
Can I still get a physical membership card?
Physical membership cards are available upon request. Please email membership@virginiamoca.org to request your card.
Do I have to download the app or can I save my membership card to my smartphone wallet?
You do not need to download the app; however, you will have to re-download the card to refresh your membership expiration date.
There is an error on my membership card. How can I fix it?
If any of your membership information is incorrect, please email membership@virginiamoca.org. We’re happy to fix it for you.
Is my information secure when I use my digital membership card?
Yes. Your digital membership card uses encrypted wallet technology, the same security features trusted by Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. Your personal and membership information is securely stored and never shared without your consent.
