"Our wedding at MOCA was fabulous! A great, unique setting for our ceremony and reception."
The expansive 4,800 square-foot atrium features a vaulted ceiling, skylight, mahogany trim and live trees. A flexible floor plan can accommodate an intimate event for 35 or an extravagant gala for 350.
This beautiful new addition showcases a sparkling 16-foot Dale Chihuly Chandelier, which shines as a beacon for your event or reception. The 1,600 square-foot space is versatile and equipped with a separate outdoor entrance, a coat check area, restrooms and a catering area.
Our 268-seat theater-style auditorium is available for seminars, meetings, performances and visual presentations. The auditorium has a 30-by-15-foot screen, complete stage, computerized light board and sound capability.
A fully-equipped professional kitchen adjacent to the Atrium is available for use by licensed caterers. A prep kitchen is available adjacent to Rodriquez Pavilion. MOCA is happy to allow you to choose your own caterer to best suit your event.
Admission to most art exhibitions is included with venue rental fee. On occasion, however, access to the galleries may be restricted.
This elegant garden, an excellent backdrop for outdoor events or photo-ops, was made possible by generous donations from Richard and Martha Glasser and The Norfolk Foundation.
