The Annual Visual and Performing Arts Academy Juried Art Show is an exhibition of student work, juried by local artists and art professionals. This competitive show celebrates a large body of current VPAA talent, including awards for exceptional artworks in the categories of 2-Dimensional, 3-Dimensional and Digital Media. This show began in 2005 and has been exhibited at Virginia MOCA each year since 2006. As both the Museum and the Academy at Salem High School have grown, we have remained close Partners in Education supporting the ability of young artists in our community.
ABOUT THE ACADEMY
The Visual and Performing Arts Academy at Salem High School offers students an in-depth exposure to the Arts through a rigorous, challenging curriculum.
