SATELLITE GALLERY

This group exhibition features new work by the 2024 Atrium Artists in Residence cohort, who were invited to make the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art their working space and site for connection with the broader community. Exploring themes in conjunction with Mark Dion and Alexis Rockman: Journey to Nature’s Underworld, on view at Virginia MOCA from February 9–June 9, 2024, this exhibition complements the residency program and celebrates the work of these talented artists.

Each artist will have a mobile studio set up in the Virginia MOCA Atrium alongside an activity inspired by their process on select dates during the exhibition.
