Get inspired by the art on view in our galleries, and work with a local artist to create an abstract acrylic landscape painting on wood panel!

In this workshop, we’ll reimagine landscapes in abstract form, with a focus on color, texture, composition, and process. Together, we’ll delve into the creative process by performing visual research, sketching, and refining a composition before beginning work on our final pieces.

Artists will use acrylic paints on wood panels to create their final works. Along the way, we’ll learn tips and tricks on working with acrylic paint, as well as how to finish artwork for professional presentation.

There will be a 30-minute lunch break, so please bring along a bagged lunch.
