Family Fest offers a unique opportunity for all ages to create, explore, and connect with art. Join Virginia MOCA as we celebrate our current exhibitions with inspired artmaking and an exciting lineup of local guests. Marvel at artist demonstrations by regional makers, peruse an outdoor market, and engage with a variety of educational resources and creative activities. You’ll also enjoy live performances, on-site food trucks, a dedicated sensory-friendly space with guided meditation, and more!

Dendê and Band will bring Carnival to Virginia Beach!  This tropical, traditional-meets-funkadelic extravaganza will have you grooving to the sounds of Brasil. Dendê will also host a solo Recycled Sounds demo and performance in honor of Earth Day.
