Artist Maya Lin relies on the history and quality of materials she uses to build greater meaning in her works of art. In her large, eye-catching sculpture, Flow, beams of raw wood rise and fall to create the appearance of gentle waves. Join us as we look at the artist's work in the gallery, discuss the potential of wood as an art material, and create our very own sculptures made of wood!
