BROCK ENVIRONMENTAL CENTER

Current members can join Virginia MOCA staff for a guided tour of the Brock Environmental Center and discover the science behind the art of our current exhibition, Maya Lin: A Study of Water.

The Brock Environmental Center, located at Pleasure House Point in Virginia Beach, is an innovative example of an environmentally sensitive and smart building—among the first in the nation to embrace energy and water independence. Learn more about one of the world's greenest buildings from the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, one of our exhibition partners.

Free for members, registration required.

More about the Brock Environmental Center:

The Chesapeake Bay Foundation built the Brock Environmental Center to engage, inform, and inspire generations about the environment and how we can all help save the Chesapeake Bay. It serves as the hub of CBF's Virginia Beach programs and is home to their mobile oyster restoration center, regional environmental education program, and a Virginia Beach City Public Schools environmental science program for high school students.
