Artist Nikki Leone at the opening celebration of her solo exhibition Rule Breaker at the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art, 2024.
Art Crit Night invites artists and the public to experience the critique process in a supportive museum setting. Three artists, selected in advance through an open call, will present their work and participate in critique sessions led by Virginia MOCA Senior Curator Heather Hakimzadeh and guest artist Nikki Leone.
Audience members are invited to observe the process, hear constructive feedback, and take part in the conversation.
