MAY 11, 11AM | American Appetite discussion with Allison M. Taylor, Chrysler Museum of Art
Allison M. Taylor, Director of Education at the Chrysler Museum of Art will discuss selected works of art from American Appetite and make connections to other objects found in the Chrysler’s collection while exploring themes of food and environment.
Allison M. Taylor is Director of Education at the Chrysler Museum of Art. Taylor manages the Chrysler’s education and library staff as well as the Museum docents. Her museum experience spans more than a decade. Before joining the Chrysler in July 2019, she served as the Head of Education and Community Engagement at Washington University’s Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum in St. Louis. Taylor’s experience also includes several years at The Mint Museum in Charlotte, as a consulting educator for the Museum of York County, and as adjunct professor at Winthrop University She holds a master’s degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Museum Studies from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a bachelor’s degree in Art History from Winthrop University.
