Tuition is due in full upon registration and includes supplies unless otherwise noted.
Register online by telephone (credit card only) or in person. Tuition must be paid at the time of registration. No student is considered registered until all fees are paid. All guardians must review and the Art Camp Information Packet which includes:
Art Camp Information Form: Please read all information in the MOCA Art Camp Information packet.
Emergency Forms: The Emergency Information Form for must be completed the first day of every camp and the Emergency Medication Permission Form if applicable.
Teen Parent/Guardian Permission Form: Student’s ages 13-17 enrolled in teen studio camps/classes are permitted to sign themselves in and out of each class with signed permission from parent, guardian, or caregiver.
Pay by cash, check or credit card. MOCA accepts MasterCard Visa, and Discover. A $35 fee is charged for all returned checks.
It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to record course start dates. Once registered Art Campers do NOT receive a confirmation, but will receive a reminder email the week before the start of each camp. In the unlikely event that a course is cancelled, you will be notified as soon as possible.
Registration deadline is 5pm seven days prior to the course start date.
Refunds are only available if a course is cancelled by MOCA due to low enrollment. Art Campers cancelling enrollment before the registration deadline will receive a tuition credit voucher, which may only be applied to another class at MOCA. No tuition credits will be given after the registration deadline, no exceptions.
Art Campers may attend morning courses, afternoon courses or both for a full day of Art Camp. Those registered for the full day should bring a non-perishable lunch, drink and snack and will be supervised by museum staff during a 30-minute lunch break. Students registered for one class in the morning or afternoon may also bring a non-sugary snack/drink if desired. Snack and lunch foods containing peanuts or peanut products are not permitted at MOCA for the safety of all Art Campers.

Minimum enrollment for courses is eight students, unless otherwise noted. Instructors may be substituted without notification. All courses are held at MOCA. Studio activities may be photographed for MOCA promotional use. Campers should dress for a mess, not all art materials wash out of clothing.
Please note, in compliance with the Code of Virginia, no child is allowed to attend Art Camp for more than 25 days (or a total of five Art Camp weeks) during a three month period. Children enrolling in the 1st Art Program for ages 2-5 must enroll and attend with a parent or guardian.
