Slow Art Day 2017
Sat, Apr 8
FREE with admission (purchase your own lunch after the tour)
Slow Art Day is a global event with a simple mission: help more people discover for themselves the joy of looking at and loving art.
Each year on Slow Art Day, our visitors are encouraged to look at art slowly. Participants visit the galleries with MOCA guides and look at five works of art for 10 minutes each. Afterwards, we meet together over lunch in the ViBe District to talk about the experience. That’s it. Simple by design, the goal is to focus on the art and the art of seeing.
Slow Art Day is free and run by volunteers. You pay only your museum admission and buy your own lunch.
