Exhibition Opening

Thursday, May 29th, 2014 6-8PM 

Enjoy fine fare from Incredible Edibles Bakery & North End Catering and Cabot Creamery, cash bar and live entertainment by Larry Weintraub, plus admission to the new exhibitions. 

MOCA members and one guest FREE. All other guests $10. Memberships can be purchased at the event.

Featured exhibition: Multiplicity 

Multiplicity is organized by the Smithsonian American Art Museum with support from the William R. Kenan, Jr. Endowment Fund. The C.F. Foundation in Atlanta supports the museum’s traveling exhibition program, Treasures to Go. Additional support for the exhibition at the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art comes from The Capital Group Companies Charitable Foundation.

Joann Moser, Deputy Chief Curator at the Smithsonian American Art Museum will give a gallery talk at 7pm.

Meet the artist!

Steve Prince will be in Fleming Gallery from 6-7pm to demonstrate his print making process and share stories about the community exhibition: Gestalt: Whole to the Part.
